What festivals are biblical? Discover all about Jewish and Christian festivals - their biblical significance and how to celebrate them.

What festivals are biblical? Is Christmas biblical? How do you celebrate Jewish and Christian festivals? Here are your questions that I answer today in this Q&A episode:

1. What does celebrating the festivals look like? Actual lamb sacrifice? - Laura

As we celebrate these festivals as Christians, we remember the events that happened during the old testament and the new testament.

These festivals show how God continues his promises to us. And no - no need for a lamb sacrifice. After all, Jesus is the perfect lamb without sin and without blemish.

 2. I would love to see a video on ideas on how to celebrate Passover and Easter - any ideas? - Lavender’s Blue Farm

I don't follow all Jewish customs. But I love to read the book of Exodus, celebrate the feast of unleavened bread. I believe as Christians, we should celebrate these festivals of our Lord.

Every festival is a remembrance of what God has done and what he wants to do in the future.

3. Is Christmas biblical? - Leon

No, Christmas is not biblical. But Christmas can be spiritual. Hanukkah, on the other hand, is both biblical and spiritual.

4. Should Christians celebrate the Sabbath? - Anne

Empathically, yes. If working 6 days and resting for 1 day is what God did, then we should do it, as well.

I believe that Friday evening to Saturday evening is Sabbath. And how should you celebrate Sabbath? With family, friends, and with fellowship.
